In car rental, booking status is a status that indicates which phase the booking is in (e.g., confirmed, cancelled, completed). For example, a booking is confirmed when the supplier has accepted the booking and confirmed the availability of the car and for which necessary payment has been received (unless the booking does not require any prepayment). A cancelled booking is exactly what it sounds – a booking that has been cancelled. A booking is completed when the rental has started, meaning the customer has picked up the vehicle.
